Fallen Tree Causes Power Outage at Bell School [UPDATE]

Regular dismissal planned, according to district.

Power has been restored, according to Markley. School will reopen tomorrow as it normally does.

A tree that fell across wires has caused a partial power outage for , Chappaqua school District Clerk Theresa Markley confirmed Wednesday.

There are no worries, however.

"The students are fine," she wrote in an email.

Bus dismissal will still be on time, according to Markley. However, parents will have to use the school's entrance from South Greeley Avenue because of plans to close Senter Street in connection to the matter.

"Con Edison is on the way," Markley wrote.
