Final Slate Of Chappaqua Board Of Education Candidates Released

Deadline to file passed Monday at 5 p.m.

With the deadline having passed yesterday to file for running in the May 18 election for the Chappaqua Central School District Board of Education, there is now a final slate of candidates.

According to information provided by District Clerk Theresa Markley, the candidates are: Jeffrey Mester - the current president who is running for another term - Nona Ullman, Randall Katchis and Amy Ansehl.

The field is unchanged from when the Citizens' Non-Partisan Candidate Committee for the Chappaqua Board of Education (CNPCC) announced the candidates' names on April 9. In the group's press release, it announced that Mester's seat and the seat of Jay Shapiro were up for election. Shapiro is not running for another term after serving two, the group announced.
