Photos: West Patent Holds Annual Art Show

Students get chance to display their works from class.

Kids and parents gathered at on Tuesday for its annual art show, which featured school works from every grade.

Nicole Metzner, an art teacher at the school, said that students were able to pick the art themselves.

"It is truely their show," she said. Metzner also noted that their work included subject matter that they learn in other classes.

Marivel Servano, Mount Kisco, was excited about her the work from daughter, Allison.

"They start some place," she said of kids beginning in art.

Jennifer Saine, Bedford, described the art show as an opportunity for families to see their kids' work and to see each other at school. Her son, Harry Griff, was among those with his work displayed.

Michele Miller, a Bedford resident, whose son Joshua had work displayed, said she thought it was great to see "all the creativity."
