Horace Greeley High School student Teddy Graves has committed to playing football at Princeton University next year.
Graves, in the second half of his senior year, was at the guidance office on Friday for a ceremonial event tied to his acceptance. He was joined by his parents, Butch and Roberta Graves, Greeley Principal Robert Rhodes, Greeley interim Athletic Director Peter Kuczma and Greeley Assistant Football Coach Dillon Clark.
Talking to Patch, Graves was elated about the experience.
Graves played varsity football for the Quakers for three seasons, and was on the junior varsity football team for his freshman year. He has played as a safety and as a cornerback.
Graves is also on Greeley's varsity basketball team.
