Development Updates; High School Performances

1. The New Castle Town Board will meet on Tuesday for a work session with two major development projects on its agenda. First, there will be discussion about a scoping outline for The Spa at New Castle's draft environmental impact statement (DEIS). The Spa is the redevelopment proposal for the Legionaries of Christ site off of Route 128 and calls for 50 condos, 34 hotel rooms, a spa and pool.

The second major item will concern the submission of a preliminary development concept plan (PDCP) for the Chappaqua Crossing retail proposal. The meeting's packet material reveals that Whole Foods is the grocer for the plan and that it would take up 40,000 square feet. Patch coverage of Whole Foods for the site is at this link. The meeting starts at 7:45 p.m. at town hall in Chappaqua.

2. Students at Horace Greeley High School have been announced to perform this week in a play called "MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG" which will be at the school on Thursday at 7:30 p.m., Friday at 8 p.m. and Saturday at 8 p.m. Details are at this link.

3. The Fox Lane Players announced it will be having renditions of "Stage Door" which will be at the high school on Friday at 7 p.m., Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. at.

4. West Patent Elementary School announced that it's having its 5th Grade Holiday Boutique, which will be on Wednesday and Thursday. More details are at this link.

5. The Chappaqua School Foundation announced that it's holding Moms Night Out on Thursday. The foundation's website can be used to buy tickets.
